Subcontractor approval and adding a subcontractor to CRM

Subcontractor approval and adding a subcontractor to CRM

Going forward – we have subcontractor approval system in place which is logged into crm directly.

Adding subcontractors to a potential/deal will not be allowed unless the subcontractor has been approved and due diligence carried out as required.

Things to do before adding a subcontractor to the system:

1)    Carry out an interview with the subcontractor to check whether or not he/ she is valid, the checks done at this stage may vary on the role of the subcontractor. IF he /she is a trainer you may want to test their capabilities at presenting. Remember that subcontractors are represent nouv in the outside world.

2)    Ask for his/her cv for records

3)    Carry out adverse media check designed by the risk team to ensure that this person is valid and now adverse media can be linked to the company name.

Once due diligence is passed:

1)    Draw up a contract with nouv and the subcontractor get it signed

2)    Start adding details to the crm under subcontractor module

IF the subcontractor is a sole trader – you will need the vat number.

IF subcontractor owns a company – you need company name and company registration number.

Finally payment details – how does the subcontractor want to get paid ? Bank details ? every end of month and so on.

If rejected - please click due diligence failed and stop
